Problem Identification and Community Interaction
Setting forth on a transformative excursion, first-year ECE, EEE, and Mech students from HITAM, accompanied by dedicated IUCEE EWB student volunteers, ventured into the picturesque village of Kolanupaka. This collaborative endeavor marked a significant milestone in their academic journey as they engaged in the spirit of community service through EPICS (Engineering Projects in Community Service). As dawn illuminated the landscape, the students eagerly initiated their mission, equipped with a zeal for innovation and a commitment to effecting positive change. Under the guidance of their mentors, they penetrated the heart of the village, prepared to apply their expertise to address pressing societal issues. From facilitating workshops on sustainable energy solutions to implementing cutting-edge technologies, each endeavor was imbued with purpose and resolve. Amidst the warm reception of the locals, bonds were forged, transcending cultural barriers and fostering mutual understanding. Throughout the day, the air resonated with the sounds of camaraderie, reflecting the joy of collaborative learning and engagement. Through their collective endeavors, the students not only empowered the community but also enriched their own academic experience, gaining invaluable insights into the practical applications of their knowledge . Reflecting on their experience, the students departed Kolanupaka with a renewed sense of purpose, inspired to continue their pursuit of engineering excellence while remaining steadfast in their dedication to serving humanity.
