It was a privilege for HITAM to serve as the backdrop for an engaging and enlightening Youth Parliament event, where the echoes of youthful ambition and vision reverberated throughout our campus. The event served as a gathering ground for impassioned young individuals, each showcasing their prowess in parliamentary debate and deliberation.
We were honored to welcome esteemed guests, including our esteemed college alumni Ms. Dibya Kumari, who proudly represented Telangana state in the National Youth Parliament. Alongside her, Dr. Subramanyam, our college registrar, Major Gen Chandrashekar Mani, Chief Mentor of HITAM, and Dr. Vamsi Koka, Dean of Strategy and Operations, lent their expertise as the event’s distinguished jury.
The Youth Parliament experience is a simulated platform meticulously crafted to impart knowledge of democratic processes, parliamentary procedures, and the essence of civic engagement to our youth. Through active involvement, participants cultivate essential leadership skills, foster critical thinking abilities, and nurture a profound understanding of policy advocacy, thus equipping them to become discerning and responsible leaders of tomorrow.
At HITAM, we stand as fervent advocates for youth empowerment and civic participation. Providing a stage for our students to voice their opinions, refine their leadership acumen, and contribute meaningfully to societal discourse fills us with immense pride.
Let us continue to champion the spirit of youth empowerment and civic engagement, fostering a generation of informed and conscientious leaders poised to shape a better future for all.
