AMD Pervasive AI Developer Contest
The AMD Pervasive AI Developer Contest provides participants with a unique opportunity to engage with confidence and secure victory. Aspiring developers had the chance to learn from AMD’s AI and Hardware experts, including Damoder Mogilipaka, a former SMTS System Design Engineer in AMD’s AI Group. In his role, Damoder was pivotal in planning and managing the Vitis Video Analytics SDK, demonstrating expertise in video codecs and multimedia frameworks.
The contest offered 1:1 mentorship support for submitting project ideas and comprehensive assistance to tackle quizzes, culminating in a coveted participation certificate. The event unfolded with a 40-minute introductory session by AMD via Zoom on February 14. Subsequently, on February 21 at 1:30 PM IST, an in-person workshop at HITAM featured Damoder, alongside competition coaches and faculty, including Vaidehi Satish Kuite and Sanjana Mehrotra from the Shooting Star Foundation NGO. Together, they guided participants in ideating projects, taking quizzes, and submitting entries, sharing valuable insights and addressing students’ doubts during the session. This collaborative effort created a dynamic learning environment, enriching the experience for all involved.
