HITAM celebrated the 75th Republic Day with great pomp and show. The event was honoured with the presence of Maj. Gen. MLN Shravan Kumar (Retd.) as the Chief Guest. About 400 members of staff, faculty, and stu dents attended the program. The national flag was unfurled by the Chief Guest in the presence of the Principal, Dr S Arvind; Chief Mentor, Maj. Gen. Mani Chandrasekhar; Registrar, Col. AV Subramaniam; and the esteemed members of HITAM Leadership. Dr Ashalatha, Professor and Wellness Counsellor presented a beautiful rendition of the national song. As a part of the celebration, the NCC cadets were felicitated for their outstanding performance in various events both at the state and national level. The prizes for faculty and students sports were also presented to the winners on the occasion.
