On May 2, 2024, an enlightening awareness session on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) was organized by HITAM. The session aimed to provide students with valuable insights into the field of NDT and its applications in various industries. Esteemed resource persons with extensive experience in the field graced the event, shedding light on the nuances of NDT. Mr. Mincheri Ravi, Associate Director (Retd.), QA, NPCIL, with a wealth of experience in Quality Assurance brought practical knowledge and real-world examples to the session. The expertise of MNV Vishwanath, Senior Scientist (Retd.), Nuclear Fuel Complex and Vice Chairman, Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing, Hyderabad added significant value to the session, offering profound insights into NDT technologies. Dr. Srinivas Kuchipudi, Scientist G, DRDO provided a comprehensive understanding of NDT’s role in defense and related sectors.
