CAMPUS
HITAM is an institute well known for its lush green campus. It has IGBC- the silver-rated building which means it has a majestically expansive building for key learning. Learning continuously does not divert us from achieving the right Path.
LEARNING
HITAM learning is an innovative center with student-centric and immersive learning. Its pedagogy of learning makes the ‘doing engineering’ differently. The real-time project-based learning is enhanced by adjacent faculty and a collaborative environment.
The institute stands as an autonomous campus and moving towards becoming a university. Thus, HITAM is a progressive learning institute that takes into account both the student and its development.
HITAM has centres of excellence in AI (Artificial Intelligence), robotics and IoT, which make it’s students future-ready. It has tied up with IBM for providing a software lab in the institute. The lab includes benefits of AI, cloud computing, data science, the Internet of things, cyber security, and a lot more.
AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS
The HITAM is the first institute in Telangana to achieve the “A+” grade NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The score of CGPA is 3.36, a score that depicts high credibility. Awarded with Band B certificate under ARIIA under the category of privately funded college. HITAM stood 2nd runner-up in the AICTE “Lilavati Award consecutive for 2 years 2020 and 2021 under the overall theme “Women Empowerment”
EXTRA ACTIVITIES
Apart from studies, the institute is well known for providing a long list of extra activities such as yoga and meditation sessions, sports, UBA (Unnat Bharat Abhiyan), NSS@HITAM, EWP (Engineers without Borders), Palle Srujana, Affinity club, HITAM toastmaster, Sahaya Society, etc.
PEDAGOGY
The pedagogy at the institute is totally different. It is the outcome of the decade-long experiment, including teacher accountability for the teaching, active classroom, feedback class, and experiment-based classroom.
PLACEMENTS
At HITAM, the placement is the cumulative effort of the student, faculty, and career design team. The design team always trains the student for the changing environment from study to work. The average package one gets after placement is 5.0 LPA.
Several companies such as IBM, IIT Hyderabad, Dell, Mindtree, Syntel, Amazon, HCL, Face, DBS, Aditya Birla, TCS, etc. come every year for placement drives. A lot of events are also organized by the institute for the development of the students and to make them ready for the future.
