About IIIT-Hyderabad
The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) is a premier research and educational institution in India, specializing in information technology and computer science. Established in 1998, it’s a private, not-for-profit institution recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Indian government.
Partnership with IIIT- Hyderabad:
The collaboration between IIIT-Hyderabad and HITAM empowers students with profound technical expertise through extensive research exposure, collaborative innovation,and culminating in joint research proposals.
Research Program Details:
The research program offers trainings and certifications in
- Internet of Things
- Natural Language Processing
- Robotics
Each program runs in batches and each batch goes through 4 phases of training. Promotion from one phase to the next phase is purely based on the students’ performance.
- Phase-1: One month of online classes followed by assignments and evaluation for registered students.
- Phase-2: Two-day workshop on the latest research topics.
- Phase-3: Work under an allocated professor for a period of 1-2 months at IIIT campus.
- Phase-4: Access to work at IIIT labs and work on a basic research project.
After completion of all four phases, students will be given preference to pursue their Master of Science program at IIIT.
Internet of Things program details:
- Batch-1(2021-2022) – 5 students certified for completing the program
- Batch-2 (2022-2023) – 4 students are in phase 4 and currently working to get certified for completing the program.
- Batch-3 (2023-2024) – 45 students have registered for the program.
Natural Language Processing program details:
- Batch-1 (2022-2023) – 4 students are in phase 4 and currently working to get certified for completing the program.
- Batch-2 (2023-2024) – 45 students have registered for the program.
Robotics Program details:
- Batch-1 (2023-2024) – 10 students have registered for the program.
